NASA Glenn is one of our very, very favorite things about Cleveland. So today we’re very happy to say “Happy 75th Anniversary” to the institution. On January 23, 1941, ground was broken for what would be initially be called the Aircraft Engine Research Laboratory.
Innovative Work Continues
We’ve blogged about Cleveland’s fine tradition of innovation before. So we’ll keep this short: NASA Glenn researchers recognized (deservedly, again) for their fine work. Most recently, by R&D Magazine for the institution’s polyamide aerogels, which have tremendous mechanical strength.
